Hardcore gamers are in for a treat as Microsoft has announced the arrival of the Xbox 360 Special Edition 4GB Kinect Family Bundle, reports the Major Nelson blog. The special edition white colored Xbox 360 wireless controller that forms a part of this bundle, will also be available separately in the U.S.
The Special Edition bundle comprises the Xbox 360 4GB console, the Kinect sensor and the wireless controller, all drenched in a shade of glossy white. In addition to these, it includes two Kinect tiles namely, Kinect Sports and Kinect Adventures. And if that’s not enough, the company has also thrown in a three-month subscription of Xbox Live Gold. The bundle will be up for sale for a limited period of time until supplies last, reports the blog.
The white wireless controller added to this bundle boasts of 2.4GHz wireless technology and is functional to a range of up to 30 feet. Players can enjoy games with up to three friends as the console supports four of these controllers at a time. This special edition accessory has been embedded with a headset port for compliance with Xbox Live play along with a Guide button to keep tabs on friends’ activities during the game. Users can also ensure longer power life by adjusting the vibration feedback.
The Xbox 360 Special Edition 4GB Kinect Family Bundle price and availability has been revealed. Priced at $299.99 (approx. Rs. 15,000), it is now shipping in the U.S. and various other countries. This bundle will arrive in Brazil and Europe in a few months. The white Xbox 360 wireless controller can be purchased separately for $49.99 (approx. Rs. 2,500).
