Kinect Star Wars bundle and game touching down on April 3

Kinect Star Wars Bundle

George Lucas fans who’ve been summoning the Force to help them bear out the unspecified wait for the Kinect Star Wars bundle and game will be glad to know that its launch date has been announced for April 3, 2012. Apart from volunteering with the hardware information, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson blog has even revealed more on new experiences with the Jedi Destiny mode.

In terms of the basic hardware that will be packed into the carton, buyers will get the Xbox 360 console with a 320GB hard drive, the Xbox 360 Wired Headset and an Xbox Live token that will be valid for availing of exclusive downloadable content. Then there’s the game itself with a C-3PO unlockable for Dance Mode which is set to be tossed into the bundle.

But these aforementioned things are certainly not the convincing points for laying hands upon the Microsoft offering. The unforgettable and endearing R2-D2 and C-3PO android characters from the Star Wars saga will make their presence felt on the gadgets. First off, the Xbox 360 unit will show off the custom, blue and white, R2-D2-themed styling. And the flashier gold controller is obviously meant to remind everyone about C-3PO.
