After the confirmation in the price cut of the Xbox 360 yesterday, Microsoft has now confirmed news of addition of the HDMI port to the Xbox 360 premium console.
There is no official release from Microsoft, however one of the company representative said, “We have not announced any plans to add HDMI to the Xbox 360 Core System.”
The representative further stated “We are constantly updating the console’s more than 1700 internal components and therefore will not comment on details of specific components or manufacturing processes.”
The Xbox 360 Elite was the first 360 system that was available with HDMI port. Upcoming Halo 3 themed Xbox 360 edition, which is releasing in September will also feature HDMI port.
After the price cut, the console is now available at the price $349.99.
I am looking for Xbox 360 HD-DVD drive with HDMI connectivity. Kindly intimate whether this product is available in India. If so, what would be the estimated price and how to buy?
