The price and availability details of the Panasonic Lumix DMC camera series which was recently unveiled, have now surfaced. This range of colorful point-and-shoot cameras include the DMC-SZ7, DMC-SZ1, DMC-FH8, DMC-FH6 and DMC-S2.
All of the five upcoming snappers allow users to capture content in HD and feature the Panasonic iA mode. While the 16.1MP DMC-FH8 and the 14.1MP DMC-FH6 variants come dressed in black, the former can be picked up in silver and violet shades as well.
Both the compact and slim cameras boast of a 24mm ultra-wide angle Leica Dc Vario-Summarit lens and house a 5x optical zoom with f2.5 brightness. The DMC-FH8 records HD videos in the MP4 format while the DMC-FH6 is capable of shooting HD videos in Motion JPEG.
Scheduled to be available only in black, the DMC-SZ7 possesses a variety of features like 10x optical zoom, a 25mm ultra-wide-angle Lumix Dc Vario -Elmar lens, full HD 1920 x 1080p video recording and Light Speed AF which claims to provide a fast focus response time of about 0.1 second. The DMC-SZ1 could delight those who love color as it can be purchased in vivid hues of black, silver, red and blue.
Allowing users to capture videos in 720p HD is one of the attributes flaunted by the 14.1MP DMC-S2 model. It comes incorporated with a 28mm wide-angle Lumix Dc Vario lens featuring 4x optical zoom, Sonic Speed Auto-Focus and Mega O.I.S. that is said to minimize blurriness in pictures. Moreover, this snapper is set to arrive coated in black, pink and violet colors.
The DMC-S2, DMC-FH6 and DMC-FH8 are priced at $110 (approx. Rs. 5,430), $130 (approx. Rs.6, 418) and $150 (approx. Rs. 7,404), respectively. The DMC-SZ1 price reads $180 (approx. Rs. 8,885) and the DMC-SZ7 would be available for $200 (approx. Rs. 9,873). This camera series is scheduled to commence retailing from early March.
