The Leica X2 Paul Smith edition camera has been launched as part of the ‘Leica à la carte’ program. Photo enthusiasts get to consider 3 different colors of elegant silver, discreet black and titanium as well as range of leather trim options to create on their own personalized snapper.

As part of the program, buyers can choose from a set of materials covering discreet black saddle-leather and full grain cowhide dipped in interesting shades of aztec, green or blue. The complete look may be further accentuated with lizard and ostrich leather patterns. All in all, there are ten different leather trim styles to pick from. The end product can also be garnished with a personalized etching on the top deck or flash cover.

Accessories such as a matching camera protector, a carrying strap and a lot more are part of the show as well. Coming to the specifications, the device is equipped with an APS-C-format CMOS image sensor that renders a resolution of 16.5MP. This component works in tandem with a Leica Elmarit 24 mm f/2.8 ASPH. lens to proffer some decent image quality.
