Nikon D4, D800 and D800E cameras arrive in India

Although it’s been quite a while since its launch in other countries, the Nikon D4 and D800 cameras have finally landed in India. Of these, the latter has been developed in an additional D800E variant as well.

The technical specifications of the D4 read out to be a 16.2MP FX-format CMOS sensor as well as the inclusion of the Expeed 3 image processing engine. It features a 51-point AF system which should offer an enhanced performance, especially in low-light conditions.

“The D4 and D800 have been the most anticipated D-SLRs of the season. They have been developed with technology and reliability that best responds to the severe demands of professional photography. Both these cameras are a result of our understanding of what the consumers really seek and thus creating the most advanced and anticipated cameras of the time,” added Takashina.

On the other hand, the D800 snapper shows off functions like dual image-area full HD D-movie. This attribute is said to allow users to record videos in FX-based or DX-based movie formats. The D800E edition has been outed as a supplementary model for professionals who look forward to improving the qualities of the original one with higher resolution and DSLR versatility.

The Nikon D4 price is revealed to be Rs. 3,24,950. The D800 and D800E can be picked for Rs. 149,950 and Rs. 164,950, respectively.
