Shutterbugs can smile as the Nikon D600 price and release date details have just been revealed. This new 24.3MP HD-SLR camera has been tailored to render the kind of picture quality and performance one would expect from a full frame FX-format sensor of its caliber.

While recording stills and clips, the high resolution CMOS sensor and Expeed 3 image processing engine are said to meet the requirements of both. Potential users can also access the WU-1b wireless adapter to record high quality HD-SLR photos and port them to mobile devices wirelessly.

“By offering users the advanced FX-format and key features inherited from our professional cameras, along with new functions like optional wireless capabilities, Nikon is inspiring photographers by providing an imaging experience that satisfies like never before,” shared Kajiwara.

The integrated FX-format provides photographers with the added flexibility of selecting the kind of images right from a very bright to a low light quality. To suit various surroundings and individual preferences, the camera supports a scene recognition system and a 2,016P RGB sensor.

The Nikon imager features a 39-point AF system with the new MultiCAM 4800FX AF module to deliver a decent AF performance in different shooting conditions. It supports full HD video recording and enables remote sharing. Its exterior is protected against moisture and dirt, while a magnesium alloy top and rear build renders the camera compact and lightweight.

The Nikon D600 price and release date information is out. It will be made available by September 18 with prices starting at $2,099.95 (approx. Rs. 1,16,420).
