Samsung i8, NV4, NV30, NV24HD, L100, L110 and L210

Samsung has launched eight new digital cameras, out of which four belong to the NV-series dubbed NV4, NV30, NV40 and NV24HD, three from L-series called the L100, L110 and L210 and i8, in UK.

The NV24HD features a 10-million-pixel resolution, delivering HD quality when transferred onto an HD-enabled TV screen. It also sports a 2.5in LCD screen and video at 720pixels (at up to 30 frames per second).

The other three NV-series models come with a 2.5-inch LCD monitor, top equivalent ISO of ISO 3200, Advanced Shake Reduction and ‘advanced noise reduction’.

In the L-series, L100 comes with 8.1 mega-pixels resolution, L110 offers a resolution of 10.1 mega-pixel and 10.1 mega-pixel L210. All the three digital cameras have been developed to provide easy-to-use features with its Digital Image Stabilisation and Intelligent Face Recognition technology. They also deliver 1600 ISO and shutter speeds of 1/1500sec.

Samsung’s i8 camera bundles a 2.7-inch touch screen LCD monitor, built-in MP3 music player and its World Tour Guide feature.

Priced at £249 (approx. Rs. 10,000), NV24HD will be available in March. Expected to roll out in February, NV4, NV30 and NV40 cost £149 (approx. Rs. 6,000), £179 (approx. Rs. 7,200) and £199 (approx. Rs. 8,000), respectively. The i8 will also hit the stores in February for £149 (approx. Rs. 6,000).
