Razer Destructor, a Gaming-grade Surface for Optical and Laser Mice Introduced at CES

Razer Destructor Gaming-Grade Surface After the Razer Mako Speaker System, Razer, well-known for its precision gaming peripherals, has unveiled its latest optimal gaming-grade mousing surface, called the Razer Destructor, at CES. It has been designed for optical and laser mice.

This latest black-colored surface is coated in a highly reactive gunmetal finish. Now the gaming-grade optical mice can easily track up to 25 percent better and gaming-grade laser mice can track up to 37 percent better, thanks to Razer Destructor.

Robert “Razerguy” Krakoff, president of Razer, explained “Other gaming-grade surfaces today lack the ability to truly accommodate gaming optical and laser sensors,” says “The Razer Destructor is designed specifically for gaming mice. Where other gaming surfaces fail, the Razer Destructor shines through and gives gaming mice the ability to achieve the tracking ability that they are designed for.”

  • Razer stated that they have worked with a number of professional gamers and teams who specialize in a wide range of gaming genres that includes Fnatic, Evil Geniuses (EG) as well as Quake phenomenon Zhibo “Jibo” Fan.

    The cost of the Razer Destructor gaming-grade surface is $39.99 for US market and €39.99 for European stores.
