Vodafone has dived once again in the mobile phone manufacturing arena with the Vodafone Blue Facebook oriented handset. Developed in collaboration with the social networking site, it comes with free Facebook access for an entire year.
To start with its Facebook affinity, it is embellished with a blue hued dedicated Facebook key standing out in the rows of its QWERTY keypad. Direct access is provided to the social networking site, right from the when the device comes to life. Also, Facebook messages can be seen in the inbox of the device, alongside other messages and emails. Apart from this, contacts of all Facebook friends are automatically synchronized with the phonebook of the handset.

The Blue Facebook phone, which sports a 2MP camera for capturing fun memories, also has functions which allow sharing them seamlessly in the Facebook albums. It also enables accessing multiple chat sessions at the same time.
Other than the all-attractive Facebook garnishing, the phone is adorned with key features like an optical trackpad and 2.4-inch QVGA screen. It runs on the Opera 5 browser, alliance with which was recently announced by Vodafone. The device is further Bluetooth enabled and its external memory can be expanded up to 16GB.
The Vodafone Blue Facebook phone is being introduced in India at a price of Rs. 4950. The handset comes with a 2 years warranty from Vodafone.
