Nintendo DSi XL Pink

Nintendo is all set to splash some brightness this fall for gamers, by painting the DSi XL with a glamorous new metallic pink shade. The new color is a rosy shade of pink, with a glossy metallic sheen on it.

Coming along with a stylus of the similar color, the DSi XL device features two screens, each measuring 4.2-inch which ensures a 93 percent larger view as compared to the Nintendo DS Lite. Other than pre-loaded games like Brain Age Express: Math, Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters and Photo Clock, the device also connects with the Nintendo DSi shop, offering access to a host of games and downloadable content.

The gadget does not limit users to gaming but also lets them take pictures with two cameras embellishing its outside. Enhancing and sharing these photos is also easy as the gaming device is embedded with the Flipnote Studio software and Facebook photo integration. It is also designed for local wireless connection with other Nintendo DS series gadgets and integrated with features like PictoChat, which lets users draw pictures, doodle, and share it with the group in the available range.

Accompanying the release of this pink device is a pink-centric game from Nintendo, the Kirby Mass Attack. The game lets players control as much as 10 pink Kirby characters and takes them in various colorful worlds to win several medals. To achieve this, players get to collect fruits, which helps increase the number of Kirbys and thus increase power and points. Another development announced by the gaming giant is the release of Professor Layton and the Last Specter, tentatively on October 17 later this year.

The Metallic Pink Nintendo DSi XL is all set to hit markets within a week, on September 18. It can be obtained for a price of $169.99 (approx. Rs. 8020) similar to the price of its Bronze, Midnight Blue and Burgundy variants. Also, the Kirby Mass Attack is slated for release on September 19.
