Pokémon DSi Bundles

It seems like Pokémon fever has once again surfaced and is all set to hit fans of the acclaimed franchise with full force. Earlier they could avail of various captivating games that unfurled across different platforms. Next month, these players will be able to get their hands on two new offerings namely Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version video games. To commemorate this launch, Nintendo is slated to unveil a pair of limited edition etched black and white Nintendo DSi bundles.

The black and white DSi portable systems will include the Pokémon Black and White versions of the game respectively. Both these gaming consoles are reported to be endowed with the new Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom artwork which is etched on the casing. These devices will also come packed with a custom Pokémon Nintendo DSi carrying case. Although the game can be played on any Nintendo DS system available in the market, only a few features can be enjoyed on those consoles.

As the company suggests, players can take complete advantage of the title’s new Xtransceiver device when they are paired with a DSi or DSi XL system. Through this innovation, video chatting is possible with others once the Friend Codes are exchanged. Through a local wireless connection, up to four players can utilize the Xtransceiver while two players can avail of this attribute via the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection service. If the game is played through the original Nintendo DS or Lite system, owners of these devices can even access voice chat with this feature. Written messages are exchangeable on the touchscreen.

The single games are slated to release on March 6, 2011 and can now be pre-ordered for $34.99 (approx. Rs. 1,589). The limited-edition Pokémon etched black and white Nintendo DSi bundles are each priced at $179.99 (approx. Rs. 8,175).
