The Go Live 1535M navigation device recently unveiled by TomTom comes with a collection of well known travel apps. Giving it company is the TomTom HD Traffic with real-time updates which provides users timely road and traffic information.
This portable navigation device employs the LIVE services for drivers to access the information they need while on the move along with travel apps from Yelp, TripAdvisor, Expedia and Twitter. Users are enabled to browse through restaurant reviews, find hotel availability and automatically tweet their time of arrival without even leaving their car through these apps. Remaining updated about fuel prices and weather forecasts is also possible via the device.

Featuring maps of US, Canada and Mexico along with advanced lane guidance, this device also accommodates support for Bluetooth hands-free calling. The company says their new offering helps users save time, money and stress by giving them real-time information as well as constantly monitoring and providing drivers with clear routes as per current traffic environments. It equips an integrated mount with flip-screen and processes traffic conditions for all major and secondary roads within the U.S. Every two minutes, the device presents users with traffic updates.
The TomTom Go Live 1535 M will be available online and from retail stores starting October. It retails for a price of $249 (approx Rs. 11,421) and is accompanied by a free 12-month subscription of LIVE services.
