32GB Nexus 7 release date confirmed for November 13

32GB Nexus 7

The 32GB Nexus 7 release date has been set for November 13 via Google Play, and to top it off, the tablet will also be available for purchase through T-Mobile on that very same day. So what’s new in this beefed up version?

Well, the tablet will now offer 32GB of internal memory for all those who felt that 8GB or 16GB of built-in storage was way too less for hoarding content. Plus, users will be able to opt for 3G in order to access data, conduct face-to-face chats and do a lot more while on the move. And not to forget, there’s a 1.2MP front-facing that helps in video calling as well as in capturing self-portraits. The Nexus 7 rides into town on the Android 4.2 platform, which is an enhanced version of Jelly Bean.

It draws its multitasking capabilities from an Nvidia Tegra quad core processor and 1GB of RAM, and as most are aware, a 7-inch capacitive backlit IPS HD 1280 x 800p display rests on its front panel, protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass coating. Needless to say, users can access the Google Play Store for downloading apps, games, movies and other related content. This Google-branded tablet is capable of delivering up to 300 hours standby in addition to 10 hours of web browsing or 9 hours of HD video playback.

The price of the Nexus 7 via T-Mobile is still under wraps. The 32GB unlocked version will be available at a cost of $249 (approx. Rs. 13,440), while 32GB carrier-free variant with HSPA+ will go up for sale at $299 (approx. Rs. 16,140). Both versions will hit the US, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany and Spain on November 13 through the Google Play Store.
