Apple’s new iPad getting too hot to handle?

Apple’s new iPad gets too hot to handle, suggests the latest word about the Cupertino-based tablet. The above statement can be taken in the literal sense as a few have reported of the device heating up while being used.

Though we cannot rule out the possibility of exaggerations, some of the factors do point to a probability. The heating problem has been witnessed in all versions of the iPad, admittedly with some people believing it simply warms up a bit. In certain scenarios, the slate powered off with a message that read ‘the iPad needs to cool down’ as mentioned on CNET.

Mostly, the battery and operating temperature could be the driving forces for the heat effect observed in all variants of the slab. At the same time, slight warming goes synonymous with almost every other electronic device. But the question is whether it impedes the normal functioning of the slate.

Apple has revealed the gadget’s operating temperature to be in the range of 32 degrees to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. But the company has still not issued a response pertaining to the new iPad complaints posted on the Apple Discussions page and MacRumors forum.

Considering that the latest tablet carries a heavier specs sheet in terms of the processor and other functions, a slight warming effect looks justifiable. However, the temperature rise could be a normal thing in the sense that it does not disturb the functions of the slab.

As far as the other specs are concerned, the third generation device operates on the A5X chip along with a larger battery. Its iSight camera and higher resolution Retina display are some of the most noticeable features. Presently, the new iPad heating issues can only be resolved if Apple representatives think its worth probing the matter.
