Zen UltraTab A700 3G price amounts to Rs. 9,499

The price details of the Zen UltraTab A700 3G have been revealed and the device is now the latest member to have been introduced in the budget-friendly segment. The slate runs the Android platform and also happens to be the first voice calling one from the company.

Featuring a dedicated SIM card slot, the device that plays successor to the UltraTab A900 and A100, is also compatible with USB dongles for 3G support. It runs the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform and claims to offer enhanced entertainment and internet access. Its front panel is dominated by a 7-inch 5-point multi-touch capacitive screen, which claims to project clear visuals, along with a 1.3MP webcam for video conferencing and capturing pictures or videos.

The task of maintaining smooth navigation and multitasking has been assigned to a Cortex A8 processor which can clock in a maximum speed of 1.2GHz. A Mali 800 GPU has been integrated to deliver advanced graphics at all times. There’s 512MB of DDR3 RAM to work in conjunction with the chipset and 4GB of internal memory to hoard digital content. An expansion slot has been embedded in the Zen slate as well, to extend support to a microSD card of not more than 32GB capacity.

Measuring 194 x 121 x 11.5 millimeters, the UltraTab A700 3G has been incorporated with a 3000mAh polymer battery. It boasts of flash support and is even compatible with audio formats such as MP3, AAC, WAV, WMA and more. Besides 3G, the device can also offer wireless internet access, thanks to its built-in Wi-Fi. Furthermore, it even tags along a customized UI with a Live Panel menu and lets users place important applications and content on the homescreen through the unique widgets.
