Sprint iPad mini, fourth generation iPad prices out, now available at retail stores

The iPad mini and fourth generation iPad tabletsâ€™ prices have been revealed by Sprint and they have hit store shelves, as was promised by the service provider. Both Apple devices are now up for grabs only through company-owned retail stores.

Available in variants with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB internal memory, these tablets can be picked up in shades of black or white. But unlike most other devices through this network provider, they can be purchased without a customer agreement. Users can choose from a number of 4G LTE data schemes and they can even switch their plans as and when they like. These tablets are up for sale until supplies last.

First up is the iPad mini, a compact device that is graced by an LED backlit IPS multi-touch display spanning 7.9 inches. It can deliver clear and vivid pictures in 1024 x 768p resolution. The front panel is also graced by a FaceTime HD camera, allowing users to engage in face-to-face video calling while on the move. A 5MP iSight snapper has been added to the mix and can be employed for clicking still shots as well as shoot high definition 1080p videos.

It is powered by the latest iOS 6 platform that tags along over 200 new features including improved Siri which understands multiple languages. Thereâ€™s iCloud integration to store and retrieve digital content from anywhere and at anytime. It employs an A5 chipset and coughs up the juice for usage time of close to 10 hours. The slab’s built-in 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi ensures internet access if thereâ€™s an open hotspot.

The fourth generation iPad also known as the iPad with Retina display, employs a 9.7-inch touchscreen of 2048 x 1536p resolution with a pixel density of 264ppi. Equipped with a FaceTime HD webcam and a 5MP iSight shooter, it is incorporated with an A6X chipset and a quad core GPU. The tablet takes advantage of iOS 6 and allows users to access iCloud instantly.

The 16GB, 32GB and 64GB iPad mini can be purchased for prices of $459.99 (approx. Rs. 25,375), $559.99 (approx. Rs. 30,891) and $659.99 (approx. Rs. 36,410), respectively. The fourth generation iPad with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB internal storage will set users back by $629.99 (approx. Rs. 34,760), $729.99 (approx. Rs. 40,280) and $829.99 (approx. Rs. 45,795), correspondingly.
