iPad Mini sold out already

iPad Mini Sold Out

The iPad Mini went up for pre-order merely two days ago along with the 4th generation iPad, and its initial stock of the white colored variant has already been sold out across the US. News is that the company has pushed back the original November 2 shipping date to another one that’s slated for two weeks hence.

And while the white version’s release has been postponed, Mac Rumors says that the black model will commence shipping on the formerly decided date. However, on cross checking this piece of information we found that even the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB black variants will knock on doors at the same time as the white models. From what is known, the high demand or low supply could be amongst a few reasons for both white as well as black variants to go out of stock at such an early stage.

Those who have not booked the iPad Mini yet, can drop by the company’s retail outlets on November 2, as the Wi-Fi-only version, is slated to hit stores that very day. The Wi-Fi + cellular version will take a while longer, with its release date scheduled to fall sometime during mid-November. Here’s a quick recap of what the tiny tablet has to offer – a 7.9-inch multi-touch IPS Retina display, 1.2MP FaceTime camera, 5MP iSight snapper, iOS 6, A5 dual core processor and a Lightning dock.

To sum it all up, the initial iPad Mini pre-order stock of the white and black variants are sold out and they will commence shipping in two weeks.
