This particular highlight being a first from the company, potential users will be able to view content in greater clarity and detail as compared to any other Acer tablet at least.
The tab binges on an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core CPU designed with a fifth battery saver core and it runs on Android 4.0. It supports external connectivity to other displays and devices via the embedded mini-HDMI output and micro-USB port. The gadget lands with 1GB RAM as well as 32GB of flash storage and it also proffers memory expandability up to 64GB.
The Acer Iconia Tab A700 flaunts a 10-inch full HD 1080p LED backlit display. The screen possesses a 16:10 aspect ratio, an 800:1 contrast ratio and a 178-degree wide angle, clubbed with a 10-point capacitive touch surface. The audio features include Dolby Mobile 3 that should offer some decent surround sound quality and it’s accompanied by a stereo speaker.

The company has pre-installed the tablet with Polaris Office 3.5 for allowing users to read and edit documents while on the move. The pre-loaded Evernote app assists owners to capture, save and store content to the cloud and the concerned files can be accessed even via other devices.
The Acer Iconia Tab A700 price is chalked at $449.99 USD (approx. Rs. 25,040). The silver A700-10s32u and black A700-10k32u versions can be pre-ordered via the company’s official website. The portfolio case is also up for grabs at $39.99 (approx. Rs. 2,225).
