Fujitsu Stylistic Q702 and Lifebook T902 launched, flaunt productivity

Fujitsu Stylistic Q702

The Fujitsu Stylistic Q702 business hybrid tablet and Lifebook T902 convertible tablet PC have been launched at Microsoft’s WPC 2012. While the former flaunts its productivity in different fields, the latter is specifically designed for mobile users that require better performance.

The Stylistic Q702 is equipped with an 11.6-inch AH-IPS anti-glare touchscreen that comes with a chemically strengthened glass, adding to its durability. Capped at just 850g, it draws its multitasking capabilities from a 3rd generation Intel Core i3 or i5 CPU. Through the optional keyboard docking, users can connect the tablet with other devices or external displays via the offered expansion ports. The peripheral also tags along a removable battery for charging purposes.

On the connectivity front, the slab offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, UMTS and Wi-Fi. Integrated features like the biometric fingerprint sensor, Intel’s Anti-Theft technology and vPro technology, BIOS password protection and an optional Trusted Platform Module contribute to overall system security. This tablet flaunts productivity in fields related to education, healthcare, sales or even government institutions and hotel industries.

“Fujitsu pays close attention to what the market requires and continues to grow its mobile portfolio with form factors designed for how people work. With the new Stylistic Q702 business hybrid tablet, Fujitsu is delivering the best of both worlds: the portability and ease-of-use of a tablet, which is perfect for consuming content, and an optional attachable keyboard, converting the device into a notebook with a full keyboard where it’s easier to create content, for example, when working on a spreadsheet or editing a business proposal. These are the types of distinctions, both subtle and obvious, that continue to set Fujitsu apart,” commented Lim Teck Sin, Vice President, Product Marketing and Engineering, Fujitsu PC, Asia Pacific.

Fujitsu Lifebook T902

The Lifebook T902 is powered by Intel’s 3rd generation i5 and i7 processors that team up with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 to enhance performance. This convertible tablet PC is equipped with a dual digitizer that enables users to navigate easily via its multi-touch abilities. Like the Stylistic Q702, this one also comes with stringent security features that include a dedicated Smart Card Slot and a security panel, amongst others. For browsing purposes, users can take advantage of the 4G LTE speed supported by the device. Furthermore, it is bundled in with a spill-resistant and anti-bacterial keyboard and backlit keys.

The Fujitsu Stylistic Q702 and Lifebook T902 price and release date details are yet under wraps. However, they will be up for grabs starting in Q3 this year.
