After being spotted in a couple or more countries across the globe, the Sony Tablet P and Tablet S are now officially ready for India. Both these devices operate on the Honeycomb OS and draw attention towards their unusual form factors when compared to other slates currently available in markets.

The Sony Tablet S is being launched in Wi-Fi as well as 3G + Wi-Fi versions. It sports a wedge shaped, or a folded book-like design which is expected to make it easier to hold. The gadget shows off a 9.4-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800p. The technical specifications of this device reveal a 1GHz dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, a 5000mAh lithium-ion battery, 32GB or 16GB user memory, a 5MP main snapper as well as a 0.3MP front facing VGA camera, and so on.

On the other hand, the Sony Tablet P takes portability to the next level by posing a clamshell-like dual screen folding structure. This one flaunts a dual core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor which is supported by RAM of 1GB and onboard memory of 4GB. Each screen measures 5.5 inches, while the rear panel is dotted by a 5MP camera. Both these slates are PlayStation Certified and come pre-loaded with titles like Crash Bandicoot, Pinball Heroes, and more.

The Sony Tablet S Wi-Fi variant can be picked for a price of Rs. 29,990, while the 3G + Wi-Fi option price tag reads Rs. 33,990. The Tablet P price is revealed to be Rs. 36,990. The Tablet S Wi-Fi edition can now be picked up from retailers, while the other two are expected by mid-January.
