The Corsair Performance Pro Series SSDs arrive and bring in more choice adding to the solid state drives that are seen coming into the markets recently. These Corsair offerings come complete with the Marvell SATA 6GB/s SSD controllers to deliver ATTO Max performance by achieving speeds of up to 515MB/s read and 440MB/s sequential write.

If media hoarders like the sound of the above specs then they should know that these devices not only support TRIM but also possesses a background garbage collection of sorts that’s built-in for Raid systems. The SSDs also claim to maintain impressive speeds when paired with setups running OS X, Linux, Windows or as mentioned earlier, with Raid configurations.

The company touts that its new offering with the SATA III 6Gb/s interface are backward compatible with SATA 2 3GB/s. Additionally, these SSDs can be connected to 3.5-inch ports on PCs and laptops, owing to the adapter that is shipped out along with these gadgets.

The Corsair Performance Pro Series SSDs can be availed in 128GB and 256GB versions at a price of $279 (approx. Rs. 13,950) and $529 (approx. Rs. 26,450). These devices are endowed with a three-year warranty from authorized distributors and retailers across the globe.
