For your iPod and iPhone, Logitech introduces new Pure-Fi Express Plus omnidirectional speaker that delivers great sound throughout your room and Pure-Fi Anytime premium alarm clock. Both the speakers are compatible with first generation iPhone as well as the new 3G iPhone.
“Our research revealed that as digital music players, and especially the iPod, become more integral to our lives, we look for accessories to optimize the experience,” said Mark Schneider, vice president and general manager of Logitech’s audio business unit. “Our latest iPod speaker docks are designed to suit each person according to their individual needs, whether what’s wanted is enhanced audio and portability or an alarm clock with innovative features such as motion sensing.”
The Pure-Fi Express Plus equips innovative speaker technology and its omnidirectional acoustics transmit sound evenly in all directions. It lets you dock, charge and listen to your iPod or iPhone.
The portable Pure-Fi Express Plus runs on AC or battery power and comes with an integrated handle. Its wireless remote lets you instantly control volume, play, pause, fast forward and rewind up to 30 feet range.
The Pure-Fi Anytime for iPhone and iPod offers a full set of features like motion-sensing technology which ensure that the iPod or iPhone will be fully charged when you wake up. The motion-sensing backlight allows you set your alarm without the hassles to turn on the lights as the alarm clock’s controls light up as soon as you wave your hand over the speakers and it automatically dims as soon as you are done. Activate snooze just by waving your hand over the speakers. Pure-Fi Anytime also includes a recessed dock, an easy-to-read display and digital AM/FM radio.
The Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus and Pure-Fi Anytime premium alarm clock are expected to hit the US and European markets in October for a retail price of $99.99 (approx Rs. 4,600) each.
