Logitech Pure-Fi series iPod Speakers announced in the US Market

Today, Logitech USA announced the launch of its new iPod speakers series called Pure-Fi series. The new series includes two speakers Pure-Fi Dream Bedroom and the Pure-Fi Anywhere.

The Pure-Fi Dream incorporates a LCD display at its base. The LCD screen displays the track title clock. The system also includes alarm function. Besides listening to music from the iPod, users can also listen to AM/FM radio. The new elegant system works with most of the iPods and will be shipped in the market with the remote with its own snooze control.

The Pure-Fi Anywhere is the upgraded version of the Pure-Fi Dream and incorporates a rechargeable battery and comes with a battery-life indicator and an improved traveling case. Besides, the system’s advanced remote control features one-touch access to Shuffle and Repeat. Also the system includes 2-inch tweeters and 3-inch woofers.

“For almost two years, Logitech has been a leader worldwide in portable iPod speakers and we’re confident that the new Pure-Fi Anywhere will extend our success by including features that make the portable experience and integration with iPod better than before,” said Jef Holove, general manager and vice president of Logitech’s audio business unit. “Logitech understands that iPod users love their iPods and want to take them wherever they go. Now, when they do, they can be confident they have the portability, battery life and the control they want.”

The Pure-Fi Dream will be shipped in the month of November at $249.99 (approx Rs. 10,290) while the Pure-Fi Anywhere will reach in the market by September at $149.99 (around Rs. 6,175).
