Rumors circulating the web claim that the awaited Apple Tablet PC will hit the market this October. According to Slashgear, this device will be launched as a premium model.
It is speculated that Apple will release the Tablet PC in October but it may start shipping a little later, supposedly to target the Christmas shopping season. The report also states that the other manufacturers involved in manufacturing the Apple Tablet PC are Foxconn and Dynapack.
The Apple Tablet PC was expected to make an appearance at the WWDC. It is still unclear whether this nettop will be a convertible like the Asus T91 or just a simple 9.7-inch touchscreen slate. Apple has refrained from commenting on these rumors.
The specifications of the Tablet PC are still under wraps. Reportedly, the Apple Tablet PC will be priced at $800 (approx. Rs.39,215). But it is still unclear if these rumors will turn into reality.
