Yet another product that is gearing up for its debut at the CES 2012 is the affordably priced HiFiMan HE-400 planar magnetic headphones. The audio gear is currently up for pre-order at a discounted price of $350 through HeadDirect.

Gizmodo reports that these are the least expensive planar magnetic headphones available in the market. Apparently, the manufacturer has come up with an easier way to mass produce these headsets. Said to have been deployed with an advanced technology that should be able to reproduce an enhanced sound quality, they claim to deliver better results as compared to most other audio accessories, integrated with dynamic drivers.

The 92.5DB sensitivity of these headphones makes them capable enough to offer compliance with a large number of devices including the Apple iPod. The company also mentions that the HiFiMan sonic signature utilized in them, continues to render detailed audio. The lightweight headset tips the scale at 440 grams and is incorporated with a thin diaphragm along with strong magnets.
