The latest Walkman MP3 Players by Sony are the newly launched A-Series (NWZ-A860), S-Series (NWZ-S760BT) and E-Series (NWZ-E460). These players have been crafted with a stylish design and include improved features like the Media Go software which transfers music, videos, playlists and photos with ease.
All three series incorporate Sony’s clear audio technology for delivery of high quality audio, bookmarking with multiple playlists, a Karaoke Mode and a language learning function. The SensMe feature plays music according to users’ mood by automatically categorizing the music tracks into varied channels. Via the synchronized lyric function users are enabled to load .lrc files and set the lyrics to scroll along in sync with the music. These new models support almost all audio and video formats.
The Walkman E-Series (NWZ-E460) is available in five colors, black, red, blue, green and pink. It delivers up to fifty hours of music with photo and video playback and FM radio. This device comes with a USB cable and features an in-built lithium ion battery.
The Walkman A-Series (NWZ-A860) comes integrated with wireless photo sharing, touchscreen audio/video playback and Bluetooth streaming. These models are endowed with premium earbuds, ensuring a comfortable fit and the S-master MX digital amplifier technology which decreases noise level and distortion. They are embedded with a 2.8-inch WQVGA TFT touchscreen, enabling users to view pictures and videos.
The Walkman S-Series (NWZ-S760BT), available in black and white colors, lets users enjoy music wirelessly and possess almost all the features of the A series. Earphones of both the series are capable of streaming via Bluetooth to wireless headphones, compatible car audio head units, speaker docks and other devices supporting Bluetooth.
The new Sony Walkman series will be available at Sony retail stores and online at store.sony.com from this September. The 8GB Walkman S-Series (NWZ-S760BT) is priced at $149. The Walkman A-Series (NWZ-A860) is available in two models of 8GB and 16GB which are priced at $179 and $219 respectively. While the Walkman E-Series (NWZ-E460) models come at a price of $79, $89 and $109 for the 4GB, 8GB and 16GB models respectively.
