Kingston India Wi-Drive wireless storage device now available

Kingston India Wi-Drive The new Kingston India Wi-Drive wireless storage device will now be available for Apple products like the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The device is scheduled to start shipping after the first week of August.

This smart new device has a built in Wi-Fi signal which allows its users to stream movies, listen to music and view images or documents via the Wi-Drive App. The app can be downloaded for free from the App Store. The device allows users to view their content anywhere in the world without having to depend on internet access or cloud-based technology.

Its flash-based memory technology is supposedly more durable than conventional platter-based hard drives and enables faster file accessibility. The portable device weighs only 86.18gms and is available in 16GB and 32GB models. Up to three people can access files at the same time from their Apple devices without any disruption in performance.

The Kingston India Wi-Drive wireless storage device will be available through Avnet, Ingram Micro, Neoteric, HCL Infosystems, Compuage Infocom, Transtek Infoways and Shree Pati Computers.
