What sets the Berktronics Audman speaker dock apart from other similar accessories meant for the Apple devices, is its extremely small form factor sporting a retro design. The ‘ultra-portable’ speaker dock with design components similar to a cassette player, also features battery charging capabilities.
Although the accessory comes enclosed in a small chassis, the dock does not compromise on the performance bit as it packs in most features that a larger dock boasts of possessing. It is equipped with dual speakers which promise to render the desired audio reproduction. The audio gear’s retro elements are inclusive of analog style pushbuttons and volume wheel to extend the interface of Apple devices. It is also embedded with dual headphone jacks, unlike most other recent devices.
And what’s more, the device also acts as a protective case for the iPhone. It is said to be a perfect companion on outdoor activities to deliver good quality music. It can be used to stream music from devices including iPod and iPhone as well as to charge them. Pre-loaded with mixtape creation app, the speaker dock is splashed with shades of white, red, blue and black. Additionally, the speaker is accompanied by a belt clip in addition to a kickstand.
This combination of a speaker dock, a charger and a protective case for iPhone is available for pre-order till December 31. The company informs it needs to raise $42,000 by the aforementioned date in order to start the production of this device. Berktronics Audman speaker dock priced at $125 (approx.
