iLuv i1255 and i1155 Portable DVD Players announced at CES

iLuv has planned to introduce two of its portable DVD players, called the i1255 iPod and i1155, with incorporated iPod dock, at CES 2008.

Featuring an 8.5 inch screen, the i1155 has the ability to play videos from an iPod or DVD discs, which will be placed into an integrated dock. You can also control the player with ease with the help of the simple touch of a finger.

Moreover, this iPod classic compliant system supports 80GB/160GB, iPod Nano 3rd Generation & iPod with video (30GB, 60GB, and 80GB) only.

The iLuv i1255 device has the ability to play music from Audio CDs, MP3 CDs and iPods such as the 6th generation iPods through a remote control. It also bundles an integrated dock adapters, allowing users to watch movies and play music. The on-screen display function enables simple navigation of iPod video and music files on a TV screen.

The iLuv i1255 and i1155 portable DVD players carry a price tag of $129.99 (approx. Rs. 5200) and $269.99 (approx. Rs. 22,800). The iLuv i1155 has started shipping, whereas the iLuv i1255 will start shipping from March.
