Today, Sony Japan announced the availability of DVP-FX860DT portable DVD player. Sony’s new product incorporates an eight inch display; having a resolution of 800 x 480 also it rotates 180 degrees.
The device supports DVD, VCD, Audio CD and MP3 disc playback. Also it has a USB terminal to load USB drives for MP3 and JPEG playback. That means users can watch photos too.
Like other Japanese gadgets, the DVP-FX860DT player also includes a TV tuner for viewing the 1SEG transmissions while traveling. Besides it also supports EPG.
The Sony DVP-FX860DT DVD player measures 228.6×165.3×32.3mm and weighs just 1.02 kgs. It incorporates a battery that lasts up to 6 hours of continuous playback.
Sony is shipping the DVP-FX860DT DVD player from 1st September at the price of 60,000 Yen (around Rs. 20,040).
