XM XpressRC Satellite Radio Unveiled

XM XpressRC Satellite Radio XM has launched its latest satellite radio, dubbed XpressRC Radio that features full-color split-screen display, 60-minute replay and music storage.

With these advanced features, the listeners can enjoy their favorite songs on favorite channels. It can even save up to 10 songs to re-listen whenever they feel so. The enhanced browsing capability allows users to experience real-time programming guide. The device has the ability to display multiple channel information, artist names and song titles.

Vernon Irvin, XM Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer shares, “You don’t live in a black and white world, so why should your XM experience be limited to black and white? The XpressRC is vibrant and offers a wealth of features and functions, ensuring the richest satellite radio experience available. The debut unit promises to take music, sports and entertainment lovers by surprise, reinventing the way they receive and experience XM content. The listening experience will never be the same.”

The split-screen enables users to view the existing channel information on the left side and at the same time users can also browse to view the music name on three various other channels.

XpressRC also provides a buffer to save up to 60 minutes of programming, enabling listeners to replay the recorded song. Moreover, users can also pause the programming provided it is within the 60-minutes timeframe and the device is not switched off.

The newest XpressRC radio also provides Quick channel navigation along with pre-set option to save 10 songs, and press number buttons allowing changing the channel by just a press.

XM also delivers a remote control with the XpressRC radio that features pause, replay and direct channel entry buttons. It also comes with a TuneSelect feature that informs the consumer about their favorite songs, artists or sports teams being played on another channel.

The lightweight and compact radio can be carried anywhere and everywhere including office, home, two-wheeler or four-wheeler. It has the ability to adjust the brightness from day to night. It also sports FrequencyFinder feature that scans and locates FM frequencies that can be heard on XM through your FM radio, and a customizable stock and sports ticker.

The XpressRC Radio will be available later this year for $169.99 (approx. Rs. 10,800).
