Epson PowerLite HC 710HD 01

The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 710HD is the latest addition to the company’s series of 3LCD home theater projectors, slated to be made available this month. The easy to setup device can either be placed in the center of the room or mounted on the ceiling.

The Easy-Slide image correction feature of this projector displays images on the screen even when it is not placed in the center. The 2,800 lumens brightness and 720p resolutions result in improved image quality, while the 3LCD 3-chip technology utilized in it helps eliminating the rainbow effect. The new Epson projector extends support to a wide range of devices that include TV receivers, gaming consoles, DVD players, Apple products, smartphones, desktop computers and many more.

“Whether it’s a blockbuster movie, live sporting event or videogame, the Home Cinema 710HD offers a great home entertainment experience at an affordable price. Delivering high-quality 720p output, the Home Cinema 710HD delivers rich, vibrant images for a true large screen cinematic experience that you can’t get in a TV for the same price,” stated Kristi Lanzit, product manager, Epson America.

The 1.2x optical zoom further simplifies the setup process and its Instant On/Instant Off technology cuts down on the time required to start the device. The connectivity options comprise S-Video, Component Video, HDMI connector as well as USB 2.0, USB Type A and Type B ports. Furthermore, it is deployed with the E-TORL lamp technology that claims to provide a lamp life that lasts up to 5000 hours. And if that’s not enough, it comes with a dedicated color mode for better viewing in brightly lit conditions.

The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 710HD release date and price are listed as late April and $649 (approx. Rs. 33,415), respectively.
