While the ‘next Galaxy’ phone continues to be mysterious, what we do know is that the Samsung Galaxy S Advance and Galaxy Pocket are making their way into India. These devices offer access to the company’s mobile application store that stocks up on a number of apps including My Reader, My Music, My Movies and many more.

The Galaxy S Advance wears a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen and is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor. Besides smooth multitasking, this CPU facilitates faster boot ups and internet browsing as well as improved image processing. It operates with the help of the Android Gingerbread mobile platform. Some other features of the Wi-Fi enabled smartphone include a 5MP camera, MP3 player, FM radio and the Find My Mobile attribute amongst many others.

The lightweight Galaxy Pocket packs an 832MHz processor in its slim chassis that measures 11.9mm in sleekness. The Wi-Fi enabled device is capable of carrying out multiple applications and offers fast download speeds. The Gingerbread based handset comes with an expansion slot to increase the memory up to 32GB. It also boasts of the TouchWiz interface that tags along easily accessible widgets and should ensure smooth navigation through applications.

The Samsung Galaxy S Advance and Galaxy Pocket prices in India are tagged at Rs. 26,900 and Rs. 8,150.
