The Ricoh Aficio SP 5200S series digital imaging system comprising multifunctional products (MFPs) promises unparalleled power at affordable prices. This A4 platform sports similarities to the A3 MFPs of the company.
The lineup is inclusive of products which offer printing, faxing and color scanning capabilities along with monochrome copying. The printing speed ranges between 47 and 52 pages per minute. Complete with an 8.5-inch tilting LCD multi-touch control panel, these intuitive MFPs provide document capture and distribution capabilities such as scanning to emails, folders and URLs.

The series is said to be devoid of bulky attachments which in turn, makes for a smaller footprint. The standard Ricoh supplies such as cartridge and maintenance kit facilitate printing 25,000 and 120,000 pages, respectively. This Energy Star certified series is deployed with the Remote Intelligent Management System and also delivers higher performance at low costs by means of attributes like automatic duplexing that enables two-sided printing.
The optional IPDS technology allows printing documents directly through business servers. Additionally, the hard drive data overwrite, user authentication, Wi-Fi Protect Access support, optional ID card reader and other security features negate the possibilities of unauthorized access to personal information. The printer-only models, namely SP 5200DN and SP 5210DN, form part of this series.
