Epson’s BrightLink 455Wi interactive projector is certainly a favorable option for educators who can effortlessly satiate the requirements of their students in larger groups, small work teams or individually. The company has now uncovered its Stylus Pro 4900 printer for Indian consumers.

The offering boasts of its capability to manage 17-inch wide media and comes along with Epson’s Micro Piezo TFP print head and UltraChrome HDR ink set. The unit claims to be the only printer in its class to handle roll media and sport an optional X-rite spectroproofer color management system.

“The Epson Stylus Pro 4900 is important to Epson and our customers as it makes our very best photo and graphic arts printing technologies available in a more affordable, smaller, and more compact form factor than ever before,” commented Samba Moorthy, Senior General Manager Sales & Marketing, Epson India.

The Micro Piezo TFP print head can seamlessly control 10 ink channels concurrently as well as 360 nozzles for each hue. The UltraChrome HDR ink set flaunts three shades of black and new orange and green inks. The photo black and matte black inks are intuitively switched by the printer depending on the media detected.

Besides, three-level black ink offers remarkable monochrome prints while enhancing gradation and discards color casts in colored prints. The Epson Micro Piezo TFT print head, UltraChrome HDR ink set and optimized color look-up-table processing algorithm provide certified 98 percent of Pantone’s Matching System color gamut.

The Epson Stylus Pro 4900 printer can now be snapped up for Rs. 1,69,999.
