Aliph launches Jawbone Prime Bluetooth Headset with Earcandy colors

Jawbone Prime Bluetooth Headset

With the latest offering from Aliph, customers can now enjoy clear music and even look trendy while doing it. This is possible with the company’s latest Jawbone Prime Bluetooth headset with Earcandy colors. The headset offers users better comfort, audio quality and come in a variety of vibrant colors.

Aliph integrates technology with style with its newest headset sporting different hues. The Jawbone Prime incorporates NoiseAssassin technology which counteracts the different problems faced by users. This technology provides an integrated digital approach to wind reduction and delivers an overall noise elimination performance.

The NoiseAssassin 2.0 used in this headset provides users with an improved performance in the noisiest places. The technology extracts more noise while keeping the customers voices the same. Acoustic Voice Activity Detector offers a solution if the Voice Activity Sensor fails to touch the customers faces. The NoiseAssassin performance gets boosted when the VAS touches the face. The device also supports a Multipoint functionality which allows two Bluetooth enabled devices to be connected at the same time.

“We watched our customers closely and saw how they struggled to be heard in extreme noise environments. So, we focused our engineering team to go deeper on the tough problems like crying babies, pounding jackhammers, beeping elevators and the like. As a result, we are excited to announce Jawbone Prime, with orders of magnitude better noise suppression, so our customers can continue their conversations wherever they happen to be,” commented Hosain Rahman, Aliph’s CEO and co-founder.

The wind problem is reduced due to the new Digital Signal Processing algorithms and by leveraging the physical advantages of the proprietary senor. The device can tackle wind up to 10 mph which enables customers to retain the natural sound of their voice. Jawbone Prime gives users many customizable options to choose from. These options include three New Fit Earbuds, three round Earbuds and an optional earloop. Consumers can opt for the one that suits their ears the best.

The highlight of the headset is the Earcandy colors which come in a wide range of trendy hues. Along with satin brown Coffee Talk, platinum Going Platinum and matte black Blah Blah Black, the device also comes with the latest Earcandy colors. These are namely yellow Yello!, green Drop Me a Lime, purple Lilac You Mean It and red Frankly Scarlet.

Designer Yves Behar exclaimed, “Earcandy is our summer color burst, to bring self-expression and a smile to our line-up. The four colors represent great skin-tone complements and contrast, as well as personal style one cannot resist, this reinforces the basic notion that anything that the consumer wears makes a statement, and it should be designed as such…this is what we call Earcandy.”

Other attributes such as talk time of up to 4.5 hours and standby time of more than 8 days are also supported by Jawbone Prime. The device takes 35 minutes and 1 hour to charge 80% and 100% respectively. The headset supports Bluetooth 1.1, 1.2, 2.0, 2.1 + EDR and can be paired with up to 8 devices within a range of 33 feet. With Earbuds the device weighs 10gms and without them it weighs 9gms making these headsets an ideal travel companion.

The Jawbone Prime with Earcandy colors from Aliph is available for pre-order from www.jawbone.com and is scheduled to hit US stores from May 2, 2009. The headset will be available for a retail price of $129.99 (approx. Rs.6,478).
