Samsung presents the latest addition to its family of laptops with the N110 and N120 mini notebooks. These devices offer users a varied range of features and look trendy as well.

The N110 and N120 mini notebooks are both powered with the Intel Atom Processor N270 and work on Genuine Windows XP Home operating system. They sport a 10 inch WSVGA with 1024 x 600 SuperBright Glossy Backlight display screen. Users can store all their files and photos on the 160GB hard drive. The products also have a 1GB DDR2 RAM and 1.6GHz processor which allows users to browse efficiently through software applications and the Internet.

Kim, President of Samsung Electronics America’s Information Technology Division explains, “Our mini notebooks represent Samsung’s desire to offer high quality, mobile focused solutions that create user value with important features such as design, ergonomics and battery life. With the addition of the N110 and N120, we have expanded our lineup with enhanced battery life, multi-media speakers and a larger keyboard and touchpad. These key features will satisfy the needs of users looking for audio video capabilities, while also supporting the road warriors needing extended battery life.”

The N110 mini notebook sports a compact and light design as it measures 10.27 (W) x 1.19 (H) x 7.3 (D) inches and weighs just 2.78 lbs. This device is ideal to carry while on the go as it can easily fit into any travel bag or briefcase. With a 6-cell (5900mAh) lithium ion battery, users can work for up to 9 hours continuously. The N110 delivers a good listening experience with a 3 W Stereo Speaker. Customers can also type with ease on its 93% full-size keyboard.

The N120 mini notebook measures 10.71 (W) x 1.71 (H) x 7.4 (D) in size and has a 97% full-sized keyboard. A 3 W Stereo Speaker with Subwoofer and SRS 2.1 channel system enables customers to listen to all their music stored on the mini-notebook. Users can use the device for up to 6 hours continuously as it has a 6-cell (5200mAh) lithium ion battery.

Both mini-laptops also have 802.11b/g Bluetooth 2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate and 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet. A 3-in-1 card reader with SD, SDHC and MMC are integrated with the mini-notebooks. External devices can be attached to these products through three USB 2.0 ports. Also incorporated into the laptops are a 1.3 megapixel webcam, integrated mic and headphone-out/Mic in with VGA Out.

The Samsung N110 and N120 mini notebooks are currently available for a retail price of $469 (approx. Rs.23,402) and $459 (approx. Rs.22,921) respectively from online retailers or through the company’s site.
