Under the Stylus NX series, Epson rolls out four new all-in-one printers, namely Epson Stylus NX115m, Epson Stylus NX215, Epson Stylus NX415 and Epson Stylus NX515. If you are wondering that these ink jet printers will be over-priced, then you may want to re-consider that thought. All the four devices are designed to deliver rich features at an affordable price.
The Epson Stylus NX115 is the entry-level all-in-one device and the Epson Stylus NX515 is the flagship model of the series, whereas the other two are the mid-level models.
Kristi Lanzit, product manager, consumer ink jets, Epson America Inc. remarked, “Each product in the Epson Stylus NX family gives you more for your money by delivering a better combination of features and print quality than competitive products at the same price point,” she added further, “Products range from the entry-level Epson Stylus NX115 all-in-one to the extremely fast flagship Epson Stylus NX515, which is up to two times faster than any comparable printer in its price range, with built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet.”
Offering an array of printing, copying and scanning requirements, the latest NX models are claimed to be easy-to-setup and easy-to-use. The devices also have the capability to reproduce images without any smudges, fades and water – all the credit goes to Epson’s exclusive DURABrite Ultra all-pigment inks.
Plus, the company’s award-winning MicroPiezo print technology also makes the productivity reliable. Other than that, the Epson Stylus NX Series comes equipped with BorderFree photo printing, a two-sided printing to save paper, a quick and high-quality scanning option with up to 2400 dpi, image enhancement tools like photo restoration, an automatic photo correction, a one-touch red eye removal, an instant-drying ink and standard or high capacity black cartridges.
Besides, the range of inkjet all-in-ones are said to be eco-friendly as it is ENERGY STAR qualified, RoHS compliant and can be even recycled.
Starting with the Epson Stylus NX215, it is touted to be the industry’s first all-in-one at an affordable price with memory card slots and a 1.5-inch color LCD screen for standalone photo printing solution. Second is the Epson Stylus NX415 that sports a 2.5-inch color LCD, memory card slots and PictBridge support for printing not only high-quality documents but also dazzling images. As far as the Epson Stylus NX515 is concerned, it is said to be the fastest printer in its class. It is capable of Wi-Fi printing with a simple four-step setup process. With this, users have the freedom to print wirelessly without any hassles.
The Epson Stylus NX515 delivers a black ISO speed of 15 PPM and color ISO speed of 9.3 PPM. Priced at $149.99 (approx. Rs. 7,066), it is now available for pre-orders via Amazon.com, BestBuy.com, Fry’s Electronics and Epson’s retail site.
The rest of the Epson Stylus NX all-in-one printers are slated to be available in June through major retailers. Price-wise, the entry-level Epson Stylus NX115, Epson Stylus NX215 and Epson Stylus NX415 can be purchased for $69.99 (approx. Rs. 3,296), $89.99 (approx. Rs. 4,237) and $99.99 (approx. Rs. 4,708), respectively.
