LG Glance handset details leaked

LG Logo The latest buzz on Internet talks about the leaked specs of the LG Glance handset, reports Electronista. Apparently, along with LGenV3 and enV Touch, the company also plans to launch this less known model via Verizon. Will this phone get an identity of its own or just disappear in the crowd?

Although the leaked pics of the phone don’t exactly look capable of passing a style statement, the features claim to be good enough to win users hearts. This CDMA enabled handset uses 1xRTT data network to access the Internet. The device supports email and instant messaging programs. This GPS enabled phone also supports Verizon’s VZ Navigator service that provides driving directions to users.

The leaks let us peep into some of its specification. With a 2-inch LCD display with 320 x 240 resolution, the phone incorporates a 1.3 megapixel camera that is just right to capture those special moments. The other features of the phone include speakers, 2.5mm headset jack and Bluetooth connectivity. The device includes a voice command recognizing feature that enables users to pass vocal commands. The on-screen interface of the phone supports two languages English or Spanish.

The LG Glance will be available via Verizon from June 5. The phone will be available for $49 (approx Rs.2, 310) with a two year contract, $199 (approx Rs.9, 380) with a one year contract or with a pre-paid plan and $299 (approx Rs.14, 100) without any contract. The phone comes with a $50 mail-in rebate.
