Break Apart PS3 controller

In the near future, you may notice a Sony PS3 controller than can break apart and offer motion sensitive technology. However, as of now let’s consider these bits as mere gossips. But we all love gossips, don’t we!?

According to GamesIndustry.biz, Sony is currently working on a new controller for the very popular PlayStation 3. This peripheral can break into two units, allowing gamers to utilize as a Wii-like motion-sensitive controller. Both the separate units are said to take advantage of an accelerometer for motion-sensing functionality. The prototype of the Break Apart Motion controller has been sent to some of the developer partners. Let’s wish that the working-stage transforms into a production stage.

Sadly, Kotaku mentioned that this news is not completely true. The website stated that their anonymous source said that the small-sized device can be hooked to the controller, offering flexibility while using miscellaneous attachments with the controller.

The gaming arena and gamers are anticipating this additional capability in the PS3 games. This might enhance the sales of the Sony PS3 in the near future. Sony hasn’t disclosed any of the details, regarding the break apart PS3 controller. So, nothing can be taken as accurate as of now.

WOW, and I thought ripping off the Wii by forgetting about vibration feedback and incorporating the useless tilt-axis was exciting enough. No offense Sony, but it doesn’t matter what hardware you have it is the online network and software that is available for the system that counts. No offense but another downloadable controller layout for the crappy game Lair won’t do you guys any good!!
