Nokia has joined hands with Verizon Wireless to unveil its latest mobile phone, dubbed 6205 The Dark Knight edition. The release is to commemorate the forthcoming July 18 theatrical release of The Dark Knight.
The flip phone incorporates a full movie trailer, wallpapers, voice tones and animated screensavers inspired by the film for owners to view it on a 2-inch display with 262,000 colors. They can also view news, sports and entertainment content from V CAST Video. It also installs Touch sensitive external music keys that assure an easy access to tracks that are bought from Verizon Wireless’ V CAST Music service.
Besides, the Dark Knight handset comes equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and 4x digital zoom, 58 MB internal memory with support for up to 4 GB of microSD memory card, integrated speakerphone and Bluetooth connection for wireless headset usage. It is compatible with Get It Now to download games, ringtones, wallpapers and other mobile content, VZ Navigator to access audible turn-by-turn directions and location information, and Mobile Web for access to the latest news, sports, weather and more.
Shining in a mysterious black color embellished with a subtle The Dark Knight emblem, the Nokia 6205 is scheduled to be available in July via Verizon Wireless online store for an estimated cost of $69.99 (approx. Rs. 3,000), after $50 rebate. The standard edition is clad in a striking metallic blue and silver color scheme.
