Panasonic has announced the availability of its new device called the BM-ET200 eye scanner.
The device has the ability to accurately identify the person’s eye within 0.3 seconds soon after the scanning is completed. Fitted with dual mirrors (for proper eye alignment), it also boasts voice activation and has the ability to handle more than 10,000 user records.
The high-tech security scanner shoots a laser into the user’s eye from 20 inches away as they stare into a green light on the device’s face. Don’t worry, it won’t burn the user’s eyes. It also provides USB access.
The Panasonic BM-ET200 Eye Scanner is currently available in the US with the price tag of $2,500 (approx. Rs. 1,00,000).
