Samsung Galaxy A21s succeeds the A21 with updated features, price revealed

The Samsung Galaxy A21 has just been updated by the South Korean company, with the new model – named A21s – getting fresh features. This new handset has been launched in London for the time being, where it will be retailing at a price of GBP 179 (approximately Rs. 16500). June 19 is when it will actually be available for purchase in London, and as for its availability in India, nothing is known at the moment.

The main highlight of the new Samsung Galaxy A21s is its quad-camera setup that now starts with a 48MP main camera rather than a 16MP one. The high-resolution snapper is accompanied by an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and dual 2MP snappers with macro and depth sensors, just like the Galaxy A21.

While the predecessor of the A21s came with a modest 4000mAh battery inside it, the new device has chosen to offer more juice with its 5000mAh unit. However, there has been no change in the charging speed, which is still a measly 15W.

A 2GHz octa-core processor has been pushed inside this Samsung smartphone. You also get a few choices in the memory department. The 3GB RAM model offers 32GB of storage, whereas the 4GB and 6GB RAM variants opt for 64GB of storage. A microSD card slot is indeed present on the device.

What doesn’t change is the front camera, which is still a 13MP unit. You also get the same 6.5-inch Infinity-O display that’s AMOLED in nature and HD+ in resolution. Android 10 is the base software, but it’s accompanied by a layer of Samsung’s One UI 2.0.

There are no reports at the moment about a possible Indian launch for the Samsung Galaxy A21s, but we’ll have more on the matter if we come across something concrete.
