Unveiled for sale in India today was the Lava Iris Alfa L smartphone which boasts of a huge 5.5-inch display and more importantly, the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. Yes, this Rs 8000 handset is among the select few affordable ones that are offering the latest version of Google’s software.
This means users of the Lava Iris Alfa L will be the beneficiaries of almost all the new features that were introduced through this operating system. These include a completely revamped notifications area, a Material Design interface, better battery consumption and more.
Not to be confused with the Karbonn Alfa A120, the Iris Alfa L from Lava sports a pretty good camera setup for the price it’s being offered at. On its rear surface, you’ll spot an 8MP snapper, whereas its front has been adorned by a 2MP selfie unit.
