Lava Iris X1 Beats launched in India for Rs 6552, designed for music

Lava’s new Iris X1 Beats is just what its name suggests – A smartphone designed for music lovers. The handset has been officially launched in India and the company has loaded it with various entertainment-oriented features including high quality stereo speakers.

A lot of OEMs are focusing on making affordable handsets all the more attractive by including various futures you’d normally find on high-end releases. The Lava Iris X1 Beats is being touted at music buffs looking for rich audio output without breaking the bank. And to deliver, the company has added a K-Class amplifier to its latest handset.

Lava Iris X1 Beats

The Lava phone is part of the X1 series and so it also inherits the same gorgeous design used by its siblings. It offers a generously sized 5-inch display, but with a mere FWVGA resolution. The cameras here are pretty standard as well, with a VGA front shooter and a 5MP imager on the back. A 1.2GHz quad core processor delivers the steam, while memory provisions comprise of 8GB internal storage and 1GB RAM.

A 2200mAh battery powers up the phone and is estimated to deliver a little over 11 hours of 3G talk time. Coming to software, the Iris X1 Beats runs Android 4.4 KitKat and the company has preloaded various applications. What’s interesting is that it offers Rs 2000 worth of downloads for two months through the Hungama app.
