The Huawei Ascend Y210D release date is spelled out and it is here to compete with the likes of the Ninja A27, Andi 3.5 and Flo Mi-351 as it has already hit pre-order status in India through leading online retailers for merely Rs. 4,999, which comes across as a pretty budget-friendly price. Similar to all the aforementioned devices, the phone in question also binges on the Android Gingerbread OS.
The Ascend Y210D is a compact handset with dimensions of 62 x 117 x 12.4 millimeters and it weighs in at merely 120 grams. This candy bar phone will arrive in color options of black and white. A TFT LCD HVGA capacitive display capable of projecting decent-quality visuals in 480 x 320p resolution, offers a multi-touch real estate measuring 3.5 inches diagonally. The Chinese manufacturer has also thrown in two SIM card slots, so customers can strike a balance between their personal and professional lives.
Besides GPRS and EDGE networks, it can also run on 3G HSDPA and has built-in Wi-Fi for connecting it to an open hotspot for relatively fast internet access. The XHTML-based smartphone has been pre-loaded with the Android browser. Although it lacks a front-mounted webcam, a rear-facing 2MP camera has been provided to facilitate image capturing and video recording.
And what’s more, an Adreno 200 GPU rests under the hood and so does a Cortex A5 processor ticking at 1GHz. It draws power from a 1700mAh battery. Featuring 256MB of RAM, the phone with 512MB of internal storage has a microSD expansion slot for making it capable of holding digital content of up to 32GB capacity using a microSD card. The Huawei Ascend Y210D can be pre-ordered via Flipkart and it is coming soon through Saholic. The white version is also slated to arrive in the coming weeks. It will be released in the country in the fourth week of this month.
