iBall Andi 5L and 5Li price in India revealed

iBall Andi 5L

iBall has announced its plans to launch the Andi 5L and 5Li in India, and through its official website, also gone on to disclose their price details. Interestingly, both the phablets grab on to the same retail values. Equipped with 5-inch screens and almost similar specifications, they will both be sold at Rs. 10,490. That’s the MRP that the company mentions in its press release, but it has the devices listed at Rs. 12,999 on its website.

The iBall Andi 5L and 5Li are set to ship with Android Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean, respectively. But the former’s drawback in the OS department is made up for by the inclusion of a stylus in its tow. The Jelly Bean-equipped device doesn’t embrace a stylus however. This in a way explains why the company has chosen to release two products with similar specifications at the same retail values.

First let us talk about the stylus-equipped ICS smartphone. It bears a 5-inch touchscreen display which throws its visuals out with a WVGA resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Its imaging options are highlighted by an 8MP snapper which comes with an LED flash set beside it, and offers the benefits of a front camera as well as 512MB of RAM. Its operations are handled by a dual core 1GHz Cortex A9 processor, while a 1800mAh battery powers it from within.

The Jelly Bean device on the other hand, grabs a 2000mAh power pack, and runs on the same dual core 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor. This handset too features an 8MP shooter on its rear, alongside an LED flash. Apart from a front camera, it also kicks in a 5-inch screen, 512MB of RAM and 4GB worth of internal storage which of course, is also the case with the other phone.

Moreover, both are dual SIM devices, and have been equipped with other traits such as GPS, A-GPS, G-sensors as well as proximity and light sensors. Apart from that, buyers of both the handsets can expect to find 32GB external microSD card slots on them.

Among the iBall Andi 5L and 5Li, the former is being offered in India now by Flipkart at Rs. 10,490. The latter hasn’t hit retail outlets yet.
