T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Exhibit a version of the S3 Mini?

A certain Samsung Galaxy Exhibit, that has a similar name as another 4G device from the South Korean manufacturer, is rumored to be arriving through T-Mobile and is said to be a variant of the S3 Mini. The leaked render confirms that the phone is indeed arriving through the service provider in question.

As Unwired View reports, the device seems like a version of the S3 Mini and will come drenched in the shade of grey. Another variant of the latter that goes by the name Axiom is also available in the country through U.S. Cellular. Codenamed SGH-T599, the smartphone is likely to be powered by a dual core processor which ticks at 1GHz. Prospective users can expect it to run on the Android Jelly Bean 4.1 platform and may receive an OTA update for version 4.2 in the future.

The handset’s specifications have not been confirmed as yet, but if it indeed is a version of the Mini device, it is likely to come with a Super AMOLED WVGA display rendering visuals in 480 x 800p resolution that provides a multi-touch real estate of 4 inches. It may come enclosed in an exterior measuring 121.55 x 63 x 9.9 millimeters and weighing approximately 120 grams.

Loaded with 8GB or 16GB onboard memory, its storage should be expandable by up to 32GB using a microSD card. The smartphone features connectivity options like a micro USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio jack, besides a SIM card slot. Customers can take advantage of Bluetooth to transfer data to compatible gadgets and Wi-Fi for wireless web access.

Armed with a front-facing VGA camera for making video calls, the phone is also equipped with a 5MP auto focus snapper with LED flash. A 1500mAh battery rests under the hood for keeping the device charged for talk time of close to 470 minutes in the 3G mode and standby time of about 460 hours.

T-Mobile has not revealed price and release date details of the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit as yet.
