Unlocked Huawei Ascend P1 price tagged at $450, available now via Amazon

The Huawei Ascend P1 had made its debut in the UK quite a while ago and now its price for the US has surfaced officially. The unlocked device is now available via Amazon and runs on the GSM networks of carriers like T-Mobile and AT&T.

The Ascend P1 candy bar phone’s black variant has been put up for sale in the country. It tips the scales at 110 grams with the battery and measures 29 X 64.8 X 7.69 millimeters. The sleek smartphone employs a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED multi-touch qHD display that is capable of rendering clear visuals in 960 x 540p resolution. Underneath this touchscreen lies an intuitive interface which can be attributed to the Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 platform.

As for the cameras, the Chinese manufacturer has bestowed the handset with an 8MP snapper complete with features like a BSI sensor, auto focus, dual LED flash and the ability to record videos. A 1.3MP webcam sits on the front side to enable users to engage in video conferencing on the move. Powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor, it ships with 1GB of RAM that is responsible for ensuring smooth navigation.

There’s 4GB of onboard flash memory to hoard digital content in addition to an expansion slot for increasing the storage by up to 32GB using a microSD card. Its wireless communication options are inclusive of Bluetooth 3.0 as well as Wi-Fi and the GPS-enabled device is even embedded with a USB port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Huawei phone is deployed with an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor and a gyroscope and it tags along FM radio.
